Joe Warneford - LEAZES

Lee's post production, contact, revisions and advice was second to none.

"Lee was the first insight that we had to what we would call a real studio. All the gear and all the idea. Lee helped us feel comfortable with finding our sounds and tones aswell as developing tracks in a way that we hadn’t seen before. Lee's post production, contact, revisions and advice was second to none. We would massively recommend him to any band or artist. You’ll be in good hands!"

Scott Vincent

We will be using Lee for all of our future releases and we recommend you do too!

"My band worked with Lee on a 3 track EP and the experience was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond in helping us to create stuff that we could be proud of and blew our expectations out of the water! The care and attention to detail Lee takes to making sure your tracks are the highest quality they can be is second to none. We will be using Lee for all of our future releases and we recommend you do too!"

Jamie Quickfall

Lee takes the time to understand your vision and really listens.

"Having used a number of recording studios in the North East, I can’t recommend Lee enough, he is nothing short of fantastic. Lee takes the time to understand your vision and really listens. He gets it. It’s a very professional and warm service through and a brilliant experience all round. I highly recommend if you’re considering recording a project."

Blame Yourself

We can not recommend Lee enough to any band wanting to record music.

"Lee has been our go-to producer since forming as a band. He works with us to make the best music possible while in the studio with him, so much so that he now just knows what we want from mixes, etc. We can not recommend Lee enough to any band wanting to record music. You will not be disappointed!"

Get In Touch
How long does a recording session usually take?
Expand
Session length can depend on your project, overall goals and of course, musical ability. All of which we can cater for. Demos can take a day, Singles or EPs several days. We’ll plan the time correctly to make sure everything is right.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Expand
This totally depends on your availability. Weekends are Peak times and are limited month to month. These should be booked 3-4 months in advance. And while weekdays aren’t exactly Peak times, they are still busy. These can often be booked 1/2 month in advance.
Do I need to come prepared with songs fully written?
Expand
It certainly helps to have your songs ready, especially when considering studio time and everyone knowing their parts. But we can also help guide you with song arrangements and ideas during the session. Sometimes the really good stuff, just happens in the
moment.
Can I hear my tracks during the mixing process?
Expand
Yes! You’ll get updates and revisions so we can work together until you’re happy with the final mix. It’s your music and I am here to serve it.
What should we bring to the session?
Expand
Most importantly, yourselves, your instruments, your songs, and your creativity! We have Tea & Coffee, a house drum kit, multiple snares, guitar amps and cabs, plus plenty digital options with plugins from Neural DSP & STL Tones to name a few. Just incase you don’t have your own equipment or maybe want to try something else. If you want to use some of our equipment, always message ahead of your recordings so we can prep for it!
Can we book multiple sessions over time instead of all at once?
Expand
Absolutely! It’s great to book in days in a row. But we can split projects into sessions to fit your bands/work/life schedule.
